A get together at our very own Runway East Hangar 58

Silicon Drinkabout started as the most informal of informal events: drinks with fellow tech workers in a pub. It’s now grown into a global community providing spaces for startups to meet and discuss business ideas and celebrate each other’s fortunes. As the name suggests, events take place in the tech-heavy Old Street area, and provide an easy-going atmosphere to meet fellow startup workers on a Friday evening, usually with free or heavily discounted drinks.

Built by Girls made an appearance at the General Assembly

General Assembly are better known for their educational and training programmes afforded to those in tech who want develop their careers. However, they also host a number of exciting events at their base in Whitechapel which are a mixture of info sessions, meetups, demo nights, and hackathons.
