Pitch Plotify to us in one sentence.
We are transforming the way an investor (Plotify customer) located anywhere in the world from Bombay to London to Los Angeles can buy an entire UK and USA Buy-to-Let property. Right now the process is full of friction – Plotify wraps a property with management, financing, and accounting, into one tradable security, which you can own with the click a button.
How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
I’ve invested in this asset class in the USA and UK for years. It’s tedious to select, diligence, negotiate and finance a purchase. It’s painful to manage it when you own it, and expensive to sell. I know many people who feel the same. The world needed a better solution.
Where do you see your industry going?
Through a period of radical evolution:
- The way end-users consume real estate, specifically living spaces, is changing radically.
- That leads to better and different investment opportunities in buy-to-let.
- Technology democratises access to those investment opportunities and we make it global.
- Investor participation in this asset class will grow exponentially.
Which company (other than your own) do you admire and why?
- It’s the best (fin)tech business and model that I have seen to date, period.
- I helped make Bloomberg the best business and model that I have seen to date – until Plotify. 🙂
If your company was a genre of music/artist what would it be?
We’re timelessly cutting edge, globally translatable, inclusive happy high status (apparently the latest buzz-phrase in social interaction).
The Zombie Apocalypse is coming – what is your last meal on earth?
Sushi + burger, together.
What has been the hardest part of your journey thus far?
Don’t believe hardship exists in the context of our journey. We’ve had wins and losses, ups and downs. Ask someone who doesn’t know where their next meal is coming from about hardship.
What made you choose Runway East Soho?

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Trust your instinct. It is usually correct.
In my spare time I like to…
