Receive a copy of our free guide to choosing an office your startup team will love
Did you know that 80% of startup founders with teams larger than 6 face a longer commute than their employees? Or that 90% of startup employees cite ‘location’ as more important than ‘salary’ when it comes to accepting a job offer?
At Runway East we’ve learnt a lot about what startups look for in an office – we host over 1200 startup workers in a variety of office types in our three buildings in London, and we’ve learnt a lot from them. We’ve learnt that not every company is right for open plan offices, that not every company is right for private offices and even that some companies don’t need an office at all!
Every founder knows how important it is to make their employees happy, proud and productive, and good startup office providers (which we think we are) know that not every team is right for every space – which is why we made this guide, to share our knowledge and make it easier for startup founders to make the choice which is right for their team.
We’ve spoken with the 80 startup founders and 1200 startup employees in our spaces to identify the factors that are most important for them when they choose a space, and used it to create a one of a kind ebook which contains all the information and tactics a founder needs to make a choice their team will be happy with. It goes beyond location and pubs – it goes into team structure, culture and growth plans.
It goes beyond how close to the tube a space is – it goes into team structure, culture and growth plans.
