A Visit to SushiNoen, Aldgate East
Just around the corner, SushiNoen is a cosy Japanese restaurant serving authentic, home-style cooking. With its warm, laid-back atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a relaxed meal with friends. SushiNoen serves up flavours that linger long after you leave.

SushiNoen brings the taste of Japan right to your plate. From delicate sushi rolls to hearty bento boxes, every dish is crafted with care and full of fresh, vibrant flavours. Crispy tempura, tender teriyaki, and perfectly seasoned rice combine in a harmony of textures and colours that make each meal a treat.
I tried the Aldgate Platter, which came with an assortment of sashimi, nigiri, and crispy prawn maki. Each bite was a perfect mix of textures. The sashimi melted in my mouth, the nigiri was tender and lightly seasoned, and the prawn maki added a satisfying crunch. It was fresh, flavourful, and exactly the pick-me-up I needed for the afternoon.

I decided to escape the office hustle for a peaceful solo lunch at SushiNoen, and it was worth every step. I can see why it's a popular spot for locals.
