Doing Good

We believe that businesses can and should be a force for good in the world, and we're determined to play our part.

We've recently been awarded B Corp status and we're proud to be part of a movement that's making a difference.

Big news, we're a B Corp

We're very excited to become a B Corp and join a network of other companies doing great things. We know that what we do as a company directly impacts our members — and their own sustainability levels — so it's massively important we get it right.

Beyond our B Corp application, our sustainability team continues their commitment to a more equitable and inclusive future. We're currently calculating our entire carbon footprint and we're constantly reviewing our supply chain.

We know there's always more work to be done (and we're very keen to crack on with it), but we're also happy to celebrate this win and our team's hard work to get this far.

The climate emergency is real, and we’re determined that our services and buildings should be as planet-friendly as possible. We’re working on a full strategy and goals to achieve this to be implemented in 2023, but in the meantime we’ve made some swift decisions to minimise our impact on the environment.

Energy and Waste

🌡 Smart thermostats and occupancy sensors installed to reduce energy usage

♻️ Comprehensive recycling program in all buildings

🥗 Food waste is composted

⚡️ 100% renewable electricity procured

New Buildings

🚚 All construction waste materials possible recycled during fit out

♲ Recycled materials preferenced in our fit outs

⚠️ Hazardous waste materials are responsibly disposed of

Site Services

🚲 Bike storage increased in buildings to encourage cycling

🛑 Plastic use (especially single-use) decreased on site

We believe we have a duty to our employees, customers and to wider society to run an inclusive company that positively contributes to local and global society. That’s why we’ve taken the following measures.

Supporting Local

📍 Preference to local and minority owned suppliers

🎗 All profits from on-site food and beverage sales donated to local charities

🎤 Free event and meeting space given to local charities and community groups

😀 Commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion in our recruitment process and training

🏳️‍🌈 Gender-neutral toilets implemented where possible

⚖️ Blind-hiring process deployed to reduce bias in the recruitment process

🚪 Dedicated free, reservable space at all sites for prayer and maternity needs

Being good employers

💰 All staff and contractors (including cleaners) are paid at the least a London Living Wage or Living Wage foundation wage if outside of London

🤲 Paid time off for volunteering for employees

🤗 Mental health days and support

🎁 A range of employee benefits and perks that go above and beyond

The Future

We know we’re only on the start of our journey to being the change we want to be in the world.

In 2023, we’ll be defining our full ESG strategy, which will be accompanied by an annual impact report and publicly available targets to ensure we’re held accountable to them by ourselves, our employees and our stakeholders.
