What’s included in the price?

Our pricing is all inclusive, so as well as access to your own private office space, your price includes business rates, utilities, cleaning, tea and coffee, a program of professional and social events for your team, and (all importantly), Cake on a Wednesday and a Drinks Trolley on a Friday.

What will my quote include?

Your quote will include all currently available office space that meets your requirements, along with the information you need to decide if we might be right for you - images, floorplans, and full details of our services.

Do you offer free meeting room access to members?

Yes, if you become a member with a private office at a Runway East site, you get free meeting room access for your team across 100+ meeting rooms we have, with industry leading allowances. To make sure members use space fairly, overages are charged only in the event you go over your allowance.

I have specific needs - can you meet them?

Almost all our members have specific needs - and we pride ourselves on aiming to meet them. Reply to your quote with them, and we’ll give you a speedy response - or call us on 0203 1379 953.

How long are your office space agreements?

Our standard pricing is on 12 month terms, but if you want a shorter or longer agreement, those are also available, with custom pricing to reflect your commitment level.

Can I customise my office?

Yes - we have a range of office customisation options you can choose from, and we want to deliver a great environment for your team. Options include your logo on the wall, to your own phone booths in office, through to building meeting rooms and custom requirements.

Are Runway East Expensive?

How flexible are the length of the agreements and notice periods?

Our standard pricing is based on a 12 month contract, if you want longer or shorter contract, we're up for it, just bear in mind the price may change depending on what you're looking for.

Are there any hidden fees we should be aware of?

Nope - everything is included. Your rent, business rates, service charge, utilities - even a tonne of meeting room credits. The only times you'll be charged outside of your agreement is if you A) exceed the generous meeting room credits already included, or B) Want to customise your space.

You pay a single monthly fee that covers everything - no separate bills for utilities, rates, or maintenance. It's designed to let you focus on your business instead of managing a building.

How much does it cost to rent an office in London?

It depends on the area, the size of your team, and the type of space you're after. London office space can range from a few hundred pounds per desk per month in outer zones to well over £1,000 in premium West End locations. At Runway East, our fully serviced offices start from around £420 per desk per month, with everything included - no hidden extras. What is the best area of London for a startup office?

It depends on your industry and where your team lives, but East London - particularly Shoreditch and the surrounding area - has long been the go-to for startups. The talent pool is strong, the culture is entrepreneurial, and you'll be surrounded by like-minded businesses. That said, London Bridge is increasingly popular with early-stage companies who want excellent transport links, and Soho is hard to beat if your clients are West End-based. We'd recommend booking a tour at a couple of our locations to see which one feels right.

What's the difference between a serviced office and a traditional lease?

With a traditional lease, you're renting empty space - typically on a 5-10 year commitment. You're responsible for fitting it out, furnishing it, sorting broadband, managing maintenance, and covering business rates and utilities on top of your rent. A serviced office comes ready to work in from day one. Everything is included in a single monthly fee - furniture, wifi, meeting rooms, utilities, and on-site support. The contracts are shorter, the upfront cost is dramatically lower, and you can scale up or down without the headache of renegotiating a lease

Do your offices have good transport links?

Very. Every Runway East location is chosen with commutability in mind. Our London offices are all within a few minutes' walk (sometimes seconds) of major tube stations and bus routes, and several are well-served by overground and mainline rail too. London Bridge, for example, offers direct trains to Brighton and Gatwick, while our East London spaces sit between Old Street, Liverpool Street, and Shoreditch High Street stations. Wherever your team is coming from, getting to the office shouldn't be the hard part.
