A Visit to Amber, Aldgate East
Just five minutes down the road, Amber is a cosy Middle Eastern restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, serving the most delicious and mouth-watering meals. It’s the perfect spot for a quick lunch bite or a catch-up with a colleague.
What’s on the Menu?
With vibrant mezze plates, roasted vegetables, and freshly baked flatbreads bursting with flavour, you can’t go wrong with a meal at Amber. The wraps are packed with tender, well-seasoned fillings, and the salads are crisp, fresh, and perfectly dressed. Every dish is a mix of textures and colours, from the creamy hummus to the golden falafel.
For a simple, hearty, and flavourful Middle Eastern meal, I chose the baked potatoes, corn pitta and a refreshing side of tabbouleh salad. I topped it off with an Elderflower lemonade. It was tasty, filling, and just the right boost for the afternoon.

I enjoyed a few minutes of calm while soaking up the lively atmosphere. Amber was bustling with people popping in for lunch, which really showed how popular it is in Aldgate East.
