London is home to Europe’s tech scene and an abundance of startups which means there are countless events in the capital all year round for startups in any sector. It can be hard to choose which ones are best for you and your startup to attend, so we have compiled a list of the best events to help you scale up to the next level, regardless of which sector you are in.
Blockchain Expo Global 2018
This has been described as the world’s largest blockchain conference and the two-day event is expected to bring over 6,000 blockchain experts in. The event will contain a series of top-level keynotes, interactive panel discussions and solution-based case studies across a number of industries that have been known to use the new technology.
AI Expo Global 2018
In association with the Blockchain Expo above, this event gives startups involved in AI the opportunity to explore new AI technologies that can enable their growth. Co-hosted alongside the IoT Tech Expo the event will see over 2000 attendees across a number of verticals including Business Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, AI Algorithms, Data & Analytics, Virtual Assistants and Chatbots. There will be over 500 speakers from top companies such as BT, Wells Fargo and Orange.
Unbound London 2018
“Europe’s largest and most exciting innovation festival” sees more than 5,000 founders, entrepreneurs and investors come together to showcase cutting edge cross-sector technology. Connecting brands and corporations, Unbound provides startups with access to investors and senior executives by allocating booths in their ‘Startup Bazaar’. On top of that, their speakers ome from top brand and tech companies such as Vodafone, UberEats and Buzzfeed.
Adobe Summit EMEA
This one is for all things digital marketing, hosted by software giants Adobe, if you’re trying to get your marketing platform off the ground or if you’re a seasoned pro looking for some new tips this is the place for you. With the likes of Victoria Beckham and Rob Brydon as speakers any attendee will leave having at least been entertained.
Bread & Jam
This might be the most stomach pleasing event on the list, a two day conference on emerging food and drink brands with plenty of product pitching to go round! Food and drink founders, innovators, investors, media and industry leaders will be expected to attend the festival which will showcase a programme of panel discussions, inspirational keynotes, hands-on workshops and mentoring sessions. Big food players such as Lloyd Grossman and the founders of the Innocent drink will be in attendance this year.
Wonder Women TECH’s 2nd London Intl. Conference
Wonder Women Tech highlights the celebrations and solutions for women and the underrepresented in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic) industries. They provide a plethora of talks, conferences and workshops from high-level innovators to help inspire others. They engage thousands of industry professionals, making it an excellent event to explore ideas for women and the underrepresented to succeed.
Enterprise Digital SUMMIT 2018
Kongress Media lead this event to bring together a community of digital experts to provide discussions on key trends and transformations in the digital industry and its workplaces. Drawing in professionals from all over Europe, it provides up to date insights on innovations for the digital age.
London Tech Week
This is probably the biggest startup event in London this year – It has been called the largest festival of tech in Europe with over 55,000 attendees across 300 events. It’s an excellent opportunity to showcase your startup and given the amount of events, you will surely find something to suit your sector.

Technology For Marketing 2018
A combined digital marketing and ecommerce event, this exhibition connects users with the newest marketing technologies. It had over 6,000 companies in attendance last year and they say that 85% of companies that attended last year purchased products within 12 months, so it could be an excellent place to present your ideas. Their speakers come from impressive companies such as Shazam and Jaguar Land Rover.
IP EXPO Europe 2018
This is a big IT event with a host of impressive speakers from Microsoft and University of California, the popular physicist Professor Brian Cox will also be speaking. There are over 300 free to attend seminars on offer and it is aimed at “CIOs, heads of IT, security specialists, heads of insight and tech experts.”
Festival of Marketing 2018
Festival of Marketing is backed by some of the biggest names in marketing and attracts interesting speakers from other walks of life too. There are 12 stages of content, plus a whole festival city and workshops to attend as well as the ‘Festival After Dark’ element that brings an entertainment side with dinner and drinks to provide networking opportunities.
Social Media Week London
This week-long event contains huge amounts of useful information around all things social media. They present over 50 sessions of talks, panel interviews and workshops. You can get inside information on the latest trends and data as well as mixing with some of the biggest brands around, such as Buzzfeed, Instagram and Facebook.
DevSecCon brings its globally established IT security event to London to engage leading practitioners and experts through a range of talks and workshops. There will be opportunities to learn best practice IT security methods as well as the newest innovation whilst networking with industry professional over free breakfast, lunch and drinks.
