10 best office spaces to rent in Brighton

Runway East

8th December 2022

Just an hour's train journey from the hustle and bustle of London, it’s no surprise that seaside Brighton is luring businesses away from the Big Smoke. With quieter surroundings but a vibrant city culture of its own, Brighton has a lot going for it as a workplace.

If you’re on the hunt for a new office space to rent in Brighton, here are some of our top picks.

Drumroll please…

Runway East Brighton

As if we wouldn't list ourselves first... We're opening a brand new space just 5 minutes from Brighton station for teams of 1-70. We've been fighting boring offices since 2014 and we're excited to bring some team bliss to the seaside.

Runway East Brighton is in the heart of a swanky new £80M development 200 metres from Brighton station. Being a B Corp, sustainability is built into every site from day one and you can rest easy knowing we give a damn about people and planet.

Enjoy an unrivalled collection of team perks and events, all sorted by our on-site dream team. And when we say events, we don’t mean awkward networking sipping on warm drinks. We mean tense team quizzes, mouth-watering cooking demonstrations, sing-your-heart-out karaoke and so much more.

Plus, you'd get access to a world of Runway East spaces across London & Bristol, with a tonne of new locations opening up every year! Think of all the LinkedIn connections...

Regus may not exude the same trendy energy as some of our other picks (cough us cough...), but if a corporate, functional, private office space is what you need, check them out.

This is a good option for teams who want a minimal and professional-looking (but fully serviced) office space. Plus, if you want to save money by skipping the fancy stuff, Regus could also be for you.

It has three office spaces to rent in Brighton and flexible contract terms. Prices start at £245 per person for the month — this includes utilities, on-site support and furniture (pretty useful).

Take a look at their Queens Road, Churchill Square, and Trafalgar Place locations.

While PLATF9RM is known for its coworking spaces, it also offers private offices at reasonable rates. Your team will benefit from permanent desks, anytime access, hi-spec interiors and fast WiFi.

It’s great for small businesses getting off the ground or need extra flexibility.

A private office will cost you £350-£420 per member per month, and you can enquire about hiring a bespoke space.

At Projects, you’ll have your own private office but also access to their coworking spaces (like with Runway East). Their rooms are light and nicely designed to make your team feel at home — expect a few plants and artsy prints.

They have two locations: Projects The Lanes and Projects Beach. Prices start at £350 per person per month for a large office.

Citibase Brighton

Clean and modern on the inside but beautifully historic on the outside. An office here gets you 24/7 access, bike and car parking, meeting room facilities… Plus, they're also on the office pet team.

Citibase is on Ditchling Road, a short walk from Brighton’s shops and bars.

Expect to pay from £200 per person per month.

Brighton Eco Centre — Ethical Property

Are you a charity, non-profit or business making a positive impact? Get office space to rent in Brighton for a great rate.

Based near the seafront, Brighton Eco Centre offers offices for one to seven people. You’ll get a flexible contract, 24/7 access, WiFi, a kitchen and a communal garden.

It’s also a one-minute walk from Brighton train station. A 4-6 person office will cost you around £760 per month.

Brighton Junction — Ethical Property

If you can’t find an office space to rent at Brighton Eco Centre, take a look at Brighton Junction. Another fair-rate office option for ethical organisations and charities, this space is also run by Ethical Property. It’s conveniently located and has private offices from £152 per person per month.

Western Road

This serviced office space to rent on Western Road in Hove would make a great base for a company looking for somewhere outside Brighton city centre.

It has lots of amenities (including an on-site manager, storage space and a reception desk) but fewer socialising opportunities than the office/co-working space combos on the list.

Prices are around £300 per person per month.

14 St George’s Place

Need a small private office for just a couple of days a week? Take a peek at 14 St George’s Place.

This fully furnished office has lots of facilities like Mac Computers and a tea and coffee area but is only available to rent for three days a week.

If your team is hoping to save money on a part-time office, this could be the place for you. Get in touch for prices upon request.

Preston Barracks

Preston Barracks is being dubbed “one of Brighton’s biggest ever regenerations” — and it’s created 50,000 sq. ft. of serviced office space. It’s a two-minute bus ride from the seafront and has great views from its rooftop terrace.

This seems like a great place for a larger company to secure a spacious office. Prices start at £350 per person per month.

Grand Parade

For a quiet and secure boutique office, check out Grand Parade. With six office spaces to rent within a Georgian townhouse, this is a luxurious option for Brighton businesses.

We reckon this space is perfect for companies that often meet with clients or teams that need a more high-end, corporate base.

You can expect to pay in the region of £495 per person per month.
