Bristol is bursting with incredible places to grab a bite. With an insane variety of food ranging anywhere from authentic Mexican tacos to gorgeous gyozas, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to lunch options for you and your startup team. But rest assured, we’re here to provide our top 6 spots to get you grubbin’ in style.

Oowee Vegan

Oowee started as a Bristol insider spot. They were the royalty of burgers. Well, lucky for us they opened up their first vegan location just a few doors down! They offer vegan food like no other in town. Rich, mouth-watering seitan is their star. Burgers, dirty fries, milkshakes all vegan and all delicious.

Cargo Cantina

Only a five minute walk from Bristol city centre you can find Cargo Cantina on the top floor of Wapping Wharf. Offering incredible tacos, tostadas, burritos and margaritas, this spot is a no-brainer for team lunches. Cargo Cantina reminds us of the delicious taquerias in Mexico (for the lucky few of our teammates that have actually been to Mexico – time for another team trip)? Make sure to pop by on a Tuesday for 3 tacos and a pint for just a tenner!

Eatchu is an award-winning dumpling spot that is only open during lunch times on Wednesday through Saturday. Perfect for that team bonding lunch break, we’ve never heard a bad review. With a wide range of dumpling filling, you can choose to have your delicious dumplings served up over noodles or rice. Vegans, veges, pesces, and omnis can all rejoice as their menu, although small, caters for all.

Small Bar

Korean. Fried. Chicken. Need we say more? With sauce inspired by gochujang and paired perfectly with chicken, we love Small Bar, and so do our Runway East members – who go absolutely crazy for this meal. Get yourself a pint too – with 31 options, you’re spoilt for choice. And it doesn’t end there…Small Bar also serves up delicious garlic blue rice, and clucking good vegan chicken. Just don’t forget it’s a cashless bar!

Who doesn’t like homemade Kurdish naan breads filled with whatever your heart desires? Matina is located right at the entrance to Saint Nick’s Market. For less than 6 pounds you can get a wrap bigger than your head (assuming you have a normal sized head). Feta, halloumi, chicken and lamb are just some of their options. Seating might be hard to find as it’s a popular joint, but you can always grab a bit to-go with your team and sit outside somewhere sunny.

Seven Lucky Gods

This incredible spot is new to Bristol and brings a bold flavour based on Tokyo izakaya bars. What could be better? We highly recommend giving the sushi a go – the fresh flavours are incomparable. Offering gorgeous bento boxes as well that accompany nicely with one of their cocktails – you can sit outside with your coworkers and soak up the sun or stay inside, just don’t forget it’s card only!
